The game designers "Hello World".

I made and published a game tonight.  It is just slightly more innovative than the tutorial that taught me how to make it.  Thanks Joseph for the link to StencylWorks.

Creating a game with a development tool seems like a good way to prototype.  Here are a couple other popular tools to get you started.  Some are heavier on the coding, but produce 3d results.
Unity
Gamemaker
More listed on learngamedesign.org.

I have an idea that’s in paper prototyping right now.  While I’m constructing that I want to learn this new tool.  That way once the first round of feedback comes in there will be something to build with this new toy.
