The kickstarter for Legends of the Stars did not reach its goal. But as of writing this the game is still on. A nordic larp set in a space opera setting based on Star Wars. The game will be run in Fall River Ma, Battleship Cove. If all goes well there will be multiple ships used as the settings for the games.

I’ve volunteered to help out. As I’m headed to some interesting places this month, I’ll be spreading the word about the game. First stop is NELCO. New England Interactive Literature (NEIL) holds a conference about larp every year. Last years was pretty amazing. I look forward to meeting even more interesting people this year. If you’re not into conferences there is also Intercon in February.

Later this month its time for Templecon. The anticipation has been building all year. This has been the longest gap between the events due to schedule changes. The Con used to be held in February each year. It’s been excruciating waiting to play in the board game room, or visit the arcade. The vendor halls are always interesting. In the past there hasn’t been much larp at Templecon, but that could change. Hopefully there will be more coming up.
